Introduction & Acceptance
Welcome to Ziova (“Ziova”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). Ziova is an AI-powered university admissions guidance platform available at ziova.ai, designed to support international students in their higher education application journey.
By accessing or using Ziova — whether as a Student, Parent, or any other user — you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement governed by the laws of India. Ziova’s trademark filings are in progress under Class 41 and Class 42 with the relevant Indian intellectual property authorities.
02
Demo & Beta Testing Notice
These Terms apply to the demo and beta testing phase of Ziova only. This is not a final or commercially released product. Final Terms & Conditions will be issued separately prior to public launch.
Nature of This Version
Ziova is currently operating as a closed demo and beta testing platform, made available to a limited, invitation-only group of users. By participating, you acknowledge and agree that:
- This is a testing environment, not a finished or commercially released product.
- Features, functionality, scoring models, and AI outputs are experimental and subject to change at any time without notice.
- Bugs, errors, data inaccuracies, and interruptions to service may occur.
- Access is provided free of charge solely for the purpose of testing and providing feedback.
- These Terms are interim and will be superseded by final Terms & Conditions before public launch.
Data Privacy During Testing
Even in this demo and testing environment, Ziova is committed to handling your data responsibly. We will make every reasonable effort to keep your data private and secure during this phase. Specifically:
- Your personal data will not be shared with any third party for commercial purposes.
- Data collected during beta testing will be used solely to develop, test, and improve the Ziova platform.
- We will apply the same data security principles during testing as we intend to apply at launch.
- You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting hello@ziova.ai.
However, as this is a testing phase, Ziova cannot guarantee the same level of data protection, system security, or platform stability that will be in place at launch. You participate in this testing phase at your own discretion and risk.
Liability Exclusion for Demo Version
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Ziova expressly excludes all liability arising from your use of this demo and beta testing version, including but not limited to:
- Loss, corruption, or unauthorised access to data submitted during the testing phase.
- Inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading AI-generated outputs, scores, or recommendations.
- Service downtime, feature failures, or loss of access during testing.
- Any decisions made in reliance on information or outputs generated by this demo version.
By using this demo version, you accept that it is provided purely for testing purposes and that Ziova’s liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by Indian law.
Confidentiality of Demo Access
Beta testers agree to keep details of the platform, its features, and their testing experience confidential. Screenshots, outputs, or access must not be shared with third parties without prior written consent from Ziova.
03
Eligibility & Account Registration
Who May Use Ziova
Ziova is designed for students in Grades 11 and 12 (typically aged 15–18) preparing for university applications. Use of the platform by individuals under the age of 18 requires a parent or legal guardian to review and accept these Terms on their behalf.
Account Creation
When creating an account, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
Parent Accounts
A parent or guardian may be granted read-only access to a student’s Ziova profile via an invitation link generated by the student. Parent accounts:
- Require approval from the student before access is granted.
- Are limited to viewing information — parents cannot edit student profiles or settings.
- Require the parent's email address to be provided during account creation.
04
AI Disclaimer & No Admissions Guarantee
Guidance Only
All content, scoring, roadmaps, recommendations, and responses generated by Ziova’s AI systems — including the AI Mentor, profile scoring, gap analysis, university suggestions, and Major Explorer — are provided for informational and guidance purposes only.
Ziova’s AI outputs do not constitute:
- Professional educational, career, or academic counselling advice.
- Legal advice of any kind.
- A guarantee, prediction, or assurance of university admission.
No Guarantee of Outcomes
Ziova makes no representations or warranties regarding a student’s likelihood of admission to any university. Admissions decisions are made solely by the respective institutions and are outside Ziova’s control. During the demo and beta phase, AI outputs are particularly experimental and must not be relied upon for any actual application decisions.
Human Review Recommended
We strongly recommend that users consult qualified school counsellors, education consultants, or other appropriate professionals before making any significant decisions based on Ziova’s outputs.
05

We will make every reasonable effort to ensure your data remains private and is not used for any purpose beyond platform development and testing. We will not sell, rent, or commercially exploit your personal data at any stage.
Data Sharing
Ziova does not sell your personal data to third parties. Data may be processed by the third-party services listed in Section 6 as necessary to operate the platform.

Minor Data Protection
As most Ziova users are under 18, we take the protection of minor data seriously. We collect only the data necessary to provide the platform’s features and do not use minor data for advertising purposes. Parents or guardians with concerns about their child’s data may contact us at hello@ziova.ai.
06
Third-Party Processors
Ziova is built on and integrates with the following third-party platforms, each of which may process your data as part of delivering the service:
Lovable (lovable.app) — The no-code application builder on which Ziova is developed and hosted. Lovable may process data as part of platform infrastructure operations.
Supabase — Provides all authentication services and database storage. Your account credentials and profile data are stored and managed via Supabase.
Anthropic (Claude API) — All AI-generated responses, scores, recommendations, and conversational features within Ziova are powered by Anthropic’s Claude API. Prompts and profile data may be transmitted to Anthropic’s systems to generate responses.
By using Ziova, you acknowledge and consent to data being processed by these third-party providers. We recommend reviewing their respective privacy policies. Ziova is not responsible for the data practices of these services beyond our contractual arrangements with them.
07

11
Monetisation & Future Paid Plans
Ziova is currently free to use and is not monetised. In the future, Ziova may introduce paid plans, premium features, or subscription tiers. Users will be notified in advance of any changes. Nothing in these Terms obligates you to pay for any services not yet introduced.
12
Modifications to These Terms
Ziova reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. As this is a demo phase, Terms may be updated frequently as the product evolves. Where changes are material, we will notify users by email or through a notice on the platform.
